Created as a direct response to a certain orange politician’s attempt to eradicate “gender ideology,” Heart in Hands (Trans) is a powerful piece that serves as both a vibrant tribute to the transgender community and a fierce protest against the systematic anti-trans policies advanced by his odious administration.
The design features two hands forming a heart – a universal gesture of care, unity and love –cradled within which we find a halo composed of the trans flag’s colours. This riot of pink, blue and white symbolizes the profound joy, diversity and validity of trans lives, embodying a community that is resilient, radiant and utterly unwilling to be erased.
Heart in Hands (Trans) stands as a strong artistic statement that no executive order will ever extinguish the inherent worth of the transgender community. It is a declaration of love in the face of hate – and a demand for a future where all trans individuals are protected, celebrated and free.

Heart in Hands (Trans) is landscape in its orientation, and available in both small and large sizes. The small – perfect for display on a mantlepiece or floating shelf – measures 275mm wide by 176mm high, whilst the large is more suited to wall mounting, and measures 430mm wide by 275mm high. Both sizes have a depth of approximately 18mm across their six total layers.
An optional protective plate made of clear 3mm acrylic can be affixed to the front of the piece with several beautiful brass screws, the better to prevent dust ingress and accidental damage.
