Perspective on The Cross
The cross is a symbol with such power and profundity that it speaks for itself. An enduring icon of faith, sacrifice and redemption, it’s presented here with a modern yet everlasting elegance across eight layers of sustainably sourced and hand-dyed birch ply, adding depth and texture to the design. Take note too of the forced perspective, which requires you the viewer to raise your gaze, inviting contemplation and reflection.
The first variant, entitled Tranquil, features a carefully chosen colour palette, with serene blues, purples and subtle gold accents evocative of a sense of peace, spirituality and – perhaps – divine presence. These hues are often associated with liturgical seasons and heavenly themes, further enhancing the piece's spiritual significance.
The second variant, Vivid, showcases a combination of pinks, oranges, yellows and blues, and brings to mind feelings of joy and celebration. In the Christian faith, these ideas are central to the concept of the Resurrection and the promise of eternal life. The bright colours can be seen to symbolise the light and triumph over darkness and death.
Whichever variant you favour, Perspective on The Cross is a powerful token of faith sure to be cherished for years to come, serving as both an attractive decoration and an object of remembrance, which can offer comfort during difficult times, inspire daily devotion and be a focal point for prayer.

Perspective on The Cross is portrait in its orientation, and available in both medium and large sizes, in the two variants detailed above. The medium – perfect for display on a mantlepiece or floating shelf – measures 270mm high by 205mm wide, whilst the large is more suited to wall mounting, and measures 372mm high by 275mm wide. Both sizes have a depth of approximately 24mm across their eight layers.
An optional protective plate made of clear 3mm acrylic can be affixed to the front of the piece with several beautiful brass screws, the better to prevent dust ingress and accidental damage.

Please note that the pictures illustrating this listing are of exemplar specimens of Perspective on The Cross, and while we take measures to ensure consistency from one run to another, you can expect your item to feature some slight variance. But that, in no small part, is what makes these pieces so special: the uniqueness of the natural wood grain and the consequential intensity of the stains and dyes we apply means that every completed piece we produce truly is one-of-a-kind.
Plans are available in the shop if you fancy trying your hand at making your own version of Perspective on The Cross. You may also be interested in our other faith-based products, such as our shadowboxed Celtic Cross.
